I saw Dr. Altman when I was 18. I had the worst period pain and would hope I would pass out because it was so excruciating. I would throw up and couldn’t eat or have fluids for at least 2 days, every single period. I was told “ThIs Is NoRmAl,” and was put on birth control. It helped, but turns out I had endometriosis after seeing a more reputable and professional health care provider. Always the best experience here. The receptionists are always so friendly and welcoming when I visit or call with a question. Scheduling visits has always been easy. This is my second pregnancy & I’m so happy I get to go through this office again. I have tried to see all the providers but Jessica Evans is especially amazing!
Dr.Altman gets a 100% from me. Extremely down to earth and there for patients in a time of need. The nurses and staff are all amazing and kind. My appointment took under an hour and I feel confident in saying I found a womens health doctor for the rest of my life.
Not only did the doctor give very minimal information after I had a laparoscopy that confirmed I have endometriosis, but when I was trying to get scheduled for Nexplanon insertion I was told that the office does not call in pre-authorizations and gave me codes to call my insurance to do it myself. When I called insurance, I was told that only the provider can call in a pre authorization.
