Dr. Patel was awesome and took care of me during the consultation, surgery and pre/post surgery appointment.. She perform the Abdominal Myomectomy, Possible life-saving hysterectomy surgery and guide me / answer all of my questions and concerns. After 6 weeks I'm back at work and my incision is healing and no pain. I appreciate her and her team
I saw Dr. Patel because I had heard wonderful things about Dr. Namaky, who was here before retiring, and assumed Dr. Patel would have similar training or knowledge on endometriosis. Dr. Patel told me endometriosis does not cause infertility or affect fertility and as such could not be the cause for my infertility. She also told me that endo does not cause heavy bleeding. *save your time and go to Christ hospital! After my appointment with dr.patel.i was left feeling hopeless and shattered. It mentally broke me.1. by telling me I didn't have something I do infact have a previous diagnosis of and pictures of! 2. Summary: Compassion matters as much as competence. Writing as a concerned husband: The good: Dr. Namaky was an amazing doctor—informative, patient, and thorough. He performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy (without oophorectomy) for my wife. She was pain-free for 10 months afterward. We left surgery with a detailed report confirming endometriosis among several diagnoses. The bad: When her pain returned, we learned Namaky had “retired,” so she saw Dr. Patel. Tried to gaslight a patient. Tried to convince patient that she did not have endometriosis even though the patient has documentation of previous laparoscopy to prove it was endometriosis. I had to talk this patient literally off a bridge. I've never had this doctor but I'd advise anyone to get a 2nd opinion if she tries this with them. She mentally damaged this poor woman. Now we're having trouble getting this patient to try another doctor.
