I found a house I like. However, I hate how they want to force you to use their washer/dryer plus 1gb of high speed internet. ONE. Also, the smart home features. Sounds like they will be watching what you do through their doorbell cameras. I hate the idea of controlling my ac through the phone bc that can get hacked plus keyless entry. Sounds way to controlling. I like old school stuff tbh.

Jamal, in Dallas area office, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the move out process. Now moving in was a definite issue. They leased me a property that was not ready ( bugs, urine stains, filthy) but resolved the issue by leasing another property near by. If you take great care or improve the property, document things broken or fixed, and know your renter's rights, you should get your deposit back. It depends on how badly you want $$ back. Tricon is the worst place I have ever rented from. I rented from them for 2+years and it was hell the entire time my family didn’t having a working ac for over 2+ years. This spiked our electricity bill and we communicated this to them. We were promised on countless occasions that the ac would be fit and we would be reimbursed. This has yet to happen. I am writing to file a complaint against Tricon regarding their unprofessional handling of maintenance issues at my rental property. I work in property management and am appalled by the level of customer service I have received. For the past two weeks, they have ignored my repeated requests to address an active slab leak, which has caused significant inconvenience and concern. Dont ever go with tricon they give you the run around and bs everyone im already talking to the texas attorney general about this we where supposed to move into a house then 2 days later say that we cant because it didnt pass inspection then say we will transfer your lease to the house that didn't pass inspection to another and never received anything im going to make sure that tricon will never do business in texas ever try me tricon
