I’m writing to support other reviews and their experience, including my cousin, who was discriminated against by this place. They requested so much information that others were not required to submit and they do not follow the law in regard to fair housing, adverse action, etc. they are really unprofessional. If you have a positive experience, great. But if you are discriminated against or have criticisms of their employees, they get really bitter. Renting a home through Tricon Residential has been, by far, the best experience I’ve had with a rental company. The entire process was smooth, easy, and incredibly professional from start to finish. Update: Their team has not provided any information besides the number for Transunion (not a screening company). They are lazy, unprofessional, and petty. It’s embarrassing at this point. If you believe this property has discriminated against you, please get in touch and/or reach out to the Cali Civil Rights Department (CRD). As a resident, we can’t wait to get out of here. It is so unfortunate as this place has great potential but the nicest way to put it is “rough”. Between the constant smell of marijuana every where , people blasting music, dogs constantly barking. It is severely mismanaged. And not to mention confrontational neighbors. If you have children, this is not the place for you. I have to blast noise machines in their rooms so my kids can sleep. My wife and I toured this place and decided to go with it given the amount of space for the price. We were denied, but with no reason as to why…just a vague email. We were approved a few days later for an objectively “nicer” place with no problem. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response, so the standard ‘please reach out to us’ response they’re sure to provide under this review is a waste. How about you reach back out to us. At this point we have reason to believe the reason is discriminatory.
