Pretty average service compared with the others sending cargo to Sri Lanka. Used this place to send a box to a friend, it took 3 months and when she did not receive it she was sent from Nawala to Wattala with no update. They then blamed it on custom clearance. After a lot of fuss she got the box in 4 days, seemingly the issue was with the Trico warehouse - that had kept the box sitting there. Recently I sent a 55 inch TV to Sri Lanka through Trico Hallam and really happy with the service. Communication was clear and easy throughout the whole process, and it was very simple to clear it from the Trico Colombo branch. Big thanks to Dilhara and the team for the great support. Highly recommend.
Items broke and too many things missing
I dropped off a box at the Hallam warehouse with an expected delivery date of 15 December. I’ve now been advised that it won’t be available for collection until 5 January, which is very disappointing. In addition, when I went to Hallam to drop off the box, the process took almost two hours just to accept a single box. There were two staff members present, yet no progress was made during that time. I’m quite dissatisfied with both the delay and the service provided.
