Putting things on my chart that weren’t even discussed, confusing me about my medication doses, concerned about problems I’m having and just said yup our body changes,
From the first time I met Dr.Gilling until now I could never warm up to her. She never seemed to want to know you as a person, I always felt like a number. Anytime I wanted to discuss a number of issues she would say “Well you sure are full of problems today.” She also would change dosing on medications without telling me. She would also enter a diagnosis on my chart and not inform me.
I had multiple health problems that were ignored over time. Dr Gilling got to the root(s) of what was going on with my health. She is very compassionate and highly astute in her practice. As I said: Outstanding!!
She withheld my anxiety and depression medication until I had a PAP smear with her even though I had one 6 months prior with a different doctor. In the same appointment I asked for a sleep apnea test and she said 'that wasn't why I was there'.
I really appreciate Dr. Gilling taking the time to explain in detail my previous dexa scans. She helped me to under how often I will need this scan.
Didn't know who to choose for a new primary care doctor. Took a chance on Dr. Gilling. Waste of time. Frustrating. * Felt very rushed. * Cut off while explaining my concerns. * Made medication changes I didn't agree with. Withheld one and cut dose of another. * Have had multiple insurance issues with wrong/missing information resulting in denial of coverage. Now I have to make multiple calls to straighten out.
