I met Dr. Markusen in the ER at CHOMP, due to IUD complications from a previous doctor. She did an amazing job at explaining the procedure, aftercare, and recovery. She seemed very caring and scheduled a follow up for me before discharging me. I will definitely be making her my primary OBGYN!
Dr Markusen really listens and cares how you feel. She always helps me find solutions to my needs. She is very knowledgeable and is up to date on the latest are options. I highly recommend her.
She is friendly, efficient, and best of all, she is very competent. I am so very glad to be her patient. I love her!!
Dr Markusen is very friendly and efficient. There is just something very empathetic in having a female gynecologist and no need for other observers during the exam. Getting an appt is not easy and don’t expect to be seen on time. Appts can even need to be rescheduled at the last minute due to hospital emergencies etc. but she’s worth the wait.
Dr M is the absolute best! She’s sharp, down to earth, caring. Goes above and beyond whatever I expect!. She asks all the right questions...like a detective solving problems. I feel I can talk to her about anything. Staff is professional and friendly. I would highly recommend her practice.
Do not go to Dr. Tricia Markusen, she will give you very bad advice so something bad will happen to your health like cancer for example. I had IUD for 10 years from another doctor (from NY) and was the time to take it off when I came to Monterey. Dr. Markusen took the IUD off for me that time, and I asked her when she is going to put me another one. She refuses to do so, and in her opinion that women in her 50 are barely made sex (she decided for me, what a luxury). It is not true, because age has nothing to do with sex, not... read more
I met Dr. Markusen in the ER at CHOMP. She was wonderful and even booked a follow-up appointment for me, in her office, right there on the spot. I've seen her twice since and she has been warm, professional, and very thorough. I've read less than stellar reviews of her staff, but so far they have been just fine and I haven't had an inordinately long wait. That said, I would gladly wait for a doctor who takes their time and listens to her patients.
She is a nice doctor but the waiting time in her office is always crazy. On average I spend about one hour each time I go before a visit, which is nonsense. You give feedback but the staff seems not to care anyway:-(
The staff at her office are not professional and they are not organized. It is sad that a doctor gets bad reviews because of not paying attention to her front office and the overall patient services.
Tricia E. Markusen, MD has a 3.5 star rating with 22 reviews.
