Just be very thorough and check in frequently. My Mom.. spent years there - staff changes, then , she was not given the protein drinks I supplied I would deliver as usual, they just sat on her counter for weeks, she was left alone in dining room, only to crack her head. I am writing this in Hopes that things have changed.
My aunt was here for a very short time before her passing last Sunday morning. I could go on and on about the warmth, professionalism, and tender attentive care of the staff; how clean the facility is; and the incredible amount of activities available to the residents, but for now I will leave it at this...They treated my aunt as if she were their very own family member. I will be forever grateful.
We all know the saying "it takes a village," and in my case, that village is Heritage Village. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff at this wonderful facility, especially Adina Cimpean, Director of Life Enrichment, and Dr. Muriel Sumovalt, Director of HealthCare Services. A modern community with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere! Lunch was great and the residents we sat with were very pleased with the choice they made. We saw a few apartments and we will be back to tour with my mom soon! We cannot wait to spend more time with her! We are very confident that she will receive the care that she needs once she moves in!
Heritage Village is one of the cleanest and most welcoming Assisted Living and Memory care facilities I've ever visited. The staff was very welcoming, answered my questions, and offered details on every aspect of having my loved one move in. I 100% recommend it!
