Noise worse after $2500 – Our van sounded like a 747 taking off when accelerating down the highway. We took it to Triangle Transmission and were told that our Transmission needed to be replaced. After spending $2500, there is no change in how the car drives except that the noise is even louder. We reported this to the owner who listened to the engine said he didn't think it was due to the transmission. Question: where we taken for a ride? Make sure you get a second opinion.
