I spent 2 years at this ranch when I was younger. I am adopted and I had a lot of issues to work through involving anger and trust. The people who worked at the ranch and with us helped mentor us into becoming men. I joined the Army and served proudly for 8 years after Mt. Carmel and I can honestly say I wouldn't have made it if Mt Carmel hadn't taught me the skills I needed in life. I thought while I was there that I hated it and wanted to leave. The hardest decision I ever made as a mother was the best decision I've ever made. My 14 year old son spent 2 months at Mount Carmel Youth Ranch the summer of 2012 and came back changed in far better ways than I ever prayed for. Everyone at the Ranch treated him and our family with kindness and respect. They CARED for him and his well-being and for his future. This is a safe and healing home away from home and I have recommended it to many. Thank you for changing my son for the better. Blessings on everyone at Mount Carmel.
