We are so happy to have Kim working with our child. She meets kids where they are, is respectful, and uses a multitude of techniques to achieve results.
My four-year-old is just beginning her journey in speech therapy. This was a new world for me to navigate as a caregiver and Kim has made it smooth. Kim is a God send!! I searched for WEEKS looking for a SLP for my step-son. Because he was over 16, has expressive language delays due to ASD and does not have Medicaid or a waiver, no one would touch him! I spent a long phone call with Kim while plant shopping, explaining his situation and Kim was committed to an eval. Her ability to work outside the typical box with him has been amazing. After only 3 ish months of weekly sessions we can already see a difference- more importantly, so can others!! Thank you Kim!!
Kim Keen at Triad has been a breath of fresh air with my adult son's communication issues. Being 26 now, we have struggled to find someone who could work with an adult with Autism with good speech techniques but issues formulating sentences and expressing them verbally or on paper. His coworkers and siblings have commented about improvements in his communication frequency. We are very pleased with the positive changes and also how receptive she makes our son feel to her therapy!
