I saw Dr. Pittman as a student at Guilford College in 2017. She mocked me for crying during an initial intake about my chronic depression. From conversations with classmates, it seems my experience wasn’t unique.

Just called and tried to understand how I would be billed seeing as I don’t have insurance. I was told by the person handling billing that they normally don’t handle people with out insurance and that the registration amount for someone without insurance is $100 more than someone with insurance? They did not want to help and are worried more about making money apparently than actually helping individuals who reach out. She kept explaining to me how I would be billed if I had insurance. I wasn't too sure about these guys last year because I was in a different state of mind and I wasn't 100% on anything really. Obviously, or I wouldn't have been going there. Last night I had a question about a medication and the doctor called me back and was extremely kind to me. He set appropriate boundaries and helped me clarify a few things over the phone and I absolutely feel so loved and cared about and cherished today. Kudos to dr. Plovsky and triad psychiatric!
