Not recommended for implants AT ALL. Rough procedure. Only used same anesthetics used for drilling teeth (you're drilling into bone!) and gave me a black box antibiotic afterwards that has now trashed my system for 6 months. I have had to work with 2 other specialists at a cost of nearly $1000 (so far) to try to put my gut and endocrine system back together. Still not there and have had to stay in bed every 2 to 3 days since. NOT RECOMMENDED.
I visited my dentist on 4-14, with a cracked tooth, at which time she informed me I needed to have the tooth removed & consider my 2nd implant! I did not have a good experience with my 1st implant, & asked her to refer me to another periodontist. She referred me to Dr. James Tanner & called his office to make the appointment.
