My dog Earl had a cough. I took him to see Dr Nicole. As she sat in my car with him I suggested multiple times "could it be allergies?" which she dismissed. She said if he doesnt get better on these antibiotics bring him in for an Xray. So I bring him back for an xray the following week. She then comes in with an xray and tells me my dog has a mass on his heart. I ask her how sure she is. She told me she hopes she is wrong but she doesn't think she is and to prepare for the worst. I recently switched to this veterinary office after the SPCA on Harlem recommended them for their honest prices and exceptional vets. I have gotten my cats groomed here before as well, so I was familiar with the facility. The front desk workers are kind and compassionate. The waiting room is a tad small, however, they get you back into a room relatively quickly. For starters, they never answer their phone. It always goes to voicemail and then you have to wait for a call back. During my dog’s last physical, it was mentioned that her rabies vaccine was due in a few months. I asked if it could be done at that appointment, to avoid any extra charges involved with coming in again, and I was assured that I would only be charged for the rabies vaccine. We really really wanted to like this place. Starting off with, I had a phone conversation with Trisha in June. Our dog was vomiting so we were trying to figure out what our next steps were. I have two infant children who were crying in the background. She stopped mid conversation and goes “do you need to tend to your children?
