Went to her for my first time, so disappointed. She was an hour late to my appt and didn’t even apologize for the wait. She didn’t listen to any concerns I had and dismissed them acting like I was stupid and she was the expert here. All she was doing was acting like I’m a nuisance and she wanted me out of there asap. The nurse was lovely, but she was rude. Honestly was disheartening as I was trying to tell her of my emotional problems.
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. During a deeply vulnerable and painful time—my second miscarriage—I sought medical care and compassion. Instead, I was met with judgment. Dr. Youngdahl remarked that I was “in a bad state,” implying that my emotional reaction was somehow abnormal or excessive. I have been a patient of Dr Youngdahl for many years and I feel very safe in her care. I am a three time cancer survivor and she pays attention to every detail of the care I need.
This “doctor” was very rude and unprofessional. She didn’t listen to my concerns or questions and just kept blabbing on. Then when it was time for the exam, she didn’t tell me what she was doing and made it even more uncomfortable than it had to be. She also tried to put me on a medication that’s bad for kidneys even though I told her that I have kidney disease. She clearly is practicing on her patients and doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing. I do not recommend going to her.
