I've seen Dr Youngdahl for the tail end of my first miscarriage and also for the second. She's been very supportive and understanding, giving me all the time I need to ask the questions I have (and I always have a lot of questions) including phone calls and/or messages. She has been knowledgeable, gentle and compassionate about my situation along with all the nurses at Bartonsville. I definitely have not had to wait long on a response to results, unlike with another doctor I've had.

This “doctor” was an hour late to my appointment, came into the room and disregarded that an hour of my time was wasted, and jumped straight into reading my chart, quickly and carelessly as though she did not want to be bothered. I stopped her and addressed her regarding how late she was, her tone and demeanor as being condescending and not caring at all regarding my health concerns. Went to her for my first time, so disappointed. She was an hour late to my appt and didn’t even apologize for the wait. She didn’t listen to any concerns I had and dismissed them acting like I was stupid and she was the expert here. All she was doing was acting like I’m a nuisance and she wanted me out of there asap. The nurse was lovely, but she was rude. Honestly was disheartening as I was trying to tell her of my emotional problems.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. During a deeply vulnerable and painful time—my second miscarriage—I sought medical care and compassion. Instead, I was met with judgment. Dr. Youngdahl remarked that I was “in a bad state,” implying that my emotional reaction was somehow abnormal or excessive.
