This company is horrible. They did not wrap any of my belongings. They damaged my piano, bookcase, 2 china closets and lost a wheel on my desk chair. They charged me for boxes for my TV and the wrapped one of the 3 in cardboard and tape. They threatened me saying they didnt damage anything. They overcharged mem quoted 5 hours, they were only here 3 hours. DO NOT TRUST THEIR QUOTES - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Followed the recommendations on their site and sent them pictures for my move. On 6/8/2020 received a quick call from a gentleman offering me a quote based on my pictures for $495.00. I said lets do it and scheduled my move for Monday, 6/29/2020 and gave him a $100 deposit. On 6/26/2020 called to confirm my move, and the rep I spoke with asked me how I was going to pay the balance. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEIR MOVERS DAMAGED BY BELONGINGS AND THE OWNER STOLE MONEY AND CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD THREE TIMES!! I DISPUTED THE CHARGES AND HAVE BEEN WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. WHEN I TRIED CALLING THE OWNER, SOME ISRAELI A-HOLE, HE CURSED ME OUT. THE COMPANY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE BY PHONE FOR $420, THEY CHARGED ME $1,260.00 WITHOUT CONSENT OR AUTHORIZATION. THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE STEALING PEOPLES MONEY PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!

Stay away! Tri-State Area Moving = scammers who will rip you off! I should have picked up on the signs of trouble before the move even happened-- their manager Linda wouldn't return my emails or phone calls in response to unjustified changes to my quoted service. Things went downhill on the day of the move. I had asked on several separate occasions before the move for advanced notice about timing to have Tri-State Area Moving stop at a storage facility to pick up extra furniture. I wish I read all the reviews before I gave this company any of my money. I was quoted one price, paid it. Then had a lazy team member who just wanted to give direction and answer his personal cell phone 30 times. So of course it took more time. We didnt want them to move all our belongings. Only what we agreed to and had told linda in the office. Shes a charmer will tell you anything to make you happy but knows its all untrue.They told us we had the space and already paid for it.
