Had a terrible experience with these folks. I was involved in an accident and ems assumed I was on drugs. Pretty racist to me.
3 weeks ago I called 911 for my elderly Mom. She has had numerous issues of her BP going very low and she passes out without warning (which is very odd for a person on 4 meds for hypertension)! About two months ago, she had an episode where she went out and hit the floor. She ended up with a broken arm and a couple of open wounds that required sutures. We took her to the ER ourselves. I was in an accident on May 25th on the interstate and the state trooper that responded felt I should go to the ER just to be checked out. Tri-State was there promptly and were GREAT!! Very careful and calming. The two Paramedics worked very well together and made me feel very comfortable. It was pouring down rain, but they just handled everything smoothly. Company should have contacted my employer at the time to charge any type of ambulance fee. This was a workers compensation injury. Horrible customer service and the person I spoke on the phone with was very rude.
