I'm a customer. They messaged me about 45 days ago wanting payment in advance for the rest of the year (2026). I paid it. Got a call yesterday to say that they were now unexpectedly out of business. Haven't picked up in two weeks and my can is way full. Two thumbs down!

The owner is top notch, he is always friendly and helpful. Tri-Star is such a great home town garbage service.

We started off with waste management when we moved to Louisville and they totally lied about their fees. In my search for a new company I came across TriStar. His cost was very reasonable and his service has been outstanding. Always picked the garbage and recycling up. Never called us to complain about anything we were doing (although, we tried to do it the way that he asked with everything bagged). When he needed to change days for pickup, he gave us a notice the week prior so we were prepared. Highly recommend.
