Ran my first sprint triathlon with TriPeaks today. I’ve only ran one before this, but I’ve ran many 5k, 10k, and half’s and done a lot of cycling events and never have I ever received as good of a welcome, amazing swag, and just general kindness all around! I was crazy and didn’t bring a wetsuit and one of the race directors offered up hers - I declined it just based on wanting to try it without (regretted it the minute I dove in but I digress). Great experience. Extremely well organized. One of my favorite races of the season.
Super fun triathlon. The only thing needed is more kayakers and buoys so that the swimmers could see where the dock was. Many passed the dock at South Tourist Park. Amazingly planned and executed and SAFE event. Thank to the zillion people helping the cyclists!!!!
Had a great first time experience. Friendly help at group pre race events and the race. Encouragement and direction at every intersection. Could not have made me feel welcome!
This has become a true gem for a local TRI.
