Even though this was my first triathlon, I had a great experience with Tri Peaks! I’ve done other race events, and this was very well organized! The instructions prior to the race were very clear and I felt like it all went very smoothly being my first time. I was pretty apprehensive about participating in this one because of the swimming and especially in the Snake River. The race directors were very approachable and prompt at answering my questions. That was a nice triathlon! These guys did a great job with this event - from the swag bag before race day to the finish line and post race festivities and booths. Everything was thought out, the course was beautiful and well marked. It’s was a great event! Thank you!
The Great Snake River Tri is BETTER than the Spudman! I was initially discouraged with the fact that the Boise 70.3 was the same day as the Spudman because I wanted to do both. However, I am so glad I learned about this one and signed up. It was perfect weather, down river swim, beautiful bike course, and the run was so refreshing along the river. I've been racing triathlons for 25 years and have done races in multiple states (I'm only saying this to let the reader know there's some experience behind this review). Tri Peaks put on a fantastic race and the experience they provide rivals any race I've done. I have done three Tri Peaks races and the whole experience is great from start to finish. We have traditionally done the Spudman Triathlon each year, but with it getting harder to get into, we have found that Tri Peaks Events offers triathlons that are easier to get into, less crowded, yet just as good as what we have done. They also were willing to change the registration of one family member to another one when we needed it. Mike and Bryan run great events!
