One of the counselors sent my child to the local hospital for what I was told was a physical evaluation that would take an hour maybe two at most then we'd go home , next thing I know my child is forcibly transported in CHAINS to a hospital in Columbia. It's been 2 years and my child still has nightmares of that place. I informed them that she did not trust the counselor that had her committed I asked for another one and they dropped her as a patient.
Be prepared for attitudes. Especially if you don’t want medication.
