Ecowater had been delivering our salt for the water softener for years, but last month the delivery guy said the machine is broken, and there's no use putting salt in it. He turned it off and left with his salt. The Ecowater salesman (Charles) came by and gave a "free" estimate for a replacement costing several thousand dollars. We selected a different company. We called due to a strong ammonia smell (our tests pull 2ppm+ repeatedly, way more than dangerous level for our tanks). After telling us the outside water tested negative for ammonia he comes for a second trip today...proceeds to tell us that he doesn't even test for it and that I must be wrong. It does not take a rocket scientist to know the difference between sulfur and ammonia. This means the first trip to our house yielded lies and the second nothing more than an admittance to those lies. I'll take my business elsewhere ... read more
