I am grateful for the nurses, but everytime I walk into the emergency room and hospital I have ptsd.. I can’t stand how people/ seniors who don’t have any family are usually the ones who are fully left in the cold without answers and placed last! It’s absolutely heart breaking.. Entered the emergency room and sat down waiting for the nurse to call me, but she ignored me and took 3 other people before me. I even stood next to her station and didnt acknowledge me at all! So I sat dowm cause im in so much pain, hurts to breathe, hurts to talk. I got in a bike accident and got injured in the chest and teeth. That grey haired intake nurse is worthless. Broke my ankle in three places and dislocated the bone was transferred to Tri-City hospital through ambulance. Got there. They did an x-ray. The doctor tried to pop my bone back in place twice. Looked at the last x-ray and said looks okay to me. It wasn't. The bone was still popped out of place and then they proceeded to tell me they couldn't help me anymore due to my health insurance and that I needed to find my own doctor surgeon that will accept my insurance. I was a little sketchy because of all the reviews, but the process didn’t take too long at all. I was there for barely 3 hours , they were honestly the nicest people I’ve met and this is by far the best ER I have been too. They took me serious about my injuries and I am grateful we came at the time we did. I had been to two other ER’s and this is the only one that seemed genuinely concerned and I felt like they were a big relief for me and super helpful
