**Warning** I took my 3 week old puppy for a subq ringers for slight dehydration. He squeezed down on his fontanelle spot very hard twice and puppy was in pain with a bruise. I lost my puppy hours later. I regret ever having gone there.

We found this Veterinary Hospital because it was in our neighborhood. We booked an office visit to have our pets checked and give them their anual vaccinations. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE! I compared our bill to others in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan areas. The Doctor pulls a fast one by giving multiple shots when combined vaccinations are standard procedure elsewhere. Also his "in-house" lab results are double else where. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY PETS HERE AGAIN, I ADVISE ALL TO DO THE SAME. As a pet owner the relationship with y... read more

I am not sure who Wilson R went to see but what he wrote is not a description of the vet Dr Marienberg that I know. Each and every time that I have gone to his office he has always answered every question I have asked. He has been very informative in explaining the possibilities of why my dog was not feeling well. And yes one time he did recommend that I take my dog to the Animal hospital in Manhattan. My dog needed a certain scan that his office isn't equipped to do. His staff is always professional and friendly as well.

I took my dog there for the first time on 3/29/14 for a check up. Dr. William Marienberg displayed no interest or concern to give my dog a check up. He actually told me that he was only a general practoner and if I wanted someone of a higher caliber and level of doctor, to go to the Animal Medical center. He offered no level of competence, skill or ability, and remotely displayed no concern, or knowledege to my questions or suggestions to the concerns I had about my dog. If ever dr. Marienberg was a qualified, capable, skill... read more

My dog was extremely antsy going in and they warned me they might have to sedate her to get her through the grooming. They were patient enough with her to get her through it without the sedation which was a relief to my wallet! She looked like a diva show dog and smelled fabulous afterward. Big thumbs up!
