Everything was good, but tue service was exceptional. If you go get the scarpeta. You won't be sorry.
Ambiance was nice. Food was absolutely terrible. Went there to celebrate my birthday and left hungry. To start, the caesar salad was ungodly bitter. I’ve never had a caesar taste like that before. The bread was burnt. The $45 steak I ordered came out very undercooked and tasteless. My fiance ordered the gnocchi.. and it literally came out as actual slop. Very looking forward to going to this restaurant. Price was fair but food just wasn’t that good. Had a French dip sandwich and it came out on a hamburger roll? The dip sauce spilled all over the plate so the bottom of the roll was soaked. There was no cheese or sauce on the sandwich as advertised. Wait was also way too long for lunch. Wife also had French toast and was not impressed. She thought the French toast at Perkins was better. The French toast wasn’t bad just didn’t meet the expectation.
A friend told me to try Tresini and I was not disappointed! The restaurant itself was gorgeous!! Very clean and inviting. There was live music in the bar and we could just hear it at our table, which was nice. Our server Bri was top notch! She was so friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu, and provided great recommendations. Everything that came to the table was absolutely delicious. 5 stars all around at Tresini. The food was outstanding, especially the creamy mushroom dish with that perfectly charred bread for dipping, and the black squid ink pasta loaded with pesto and seared seafood. Service was excellent, atmosphere fantastic with great outdoor seating. Bread was fresh and addictive. Highly recommend
