Avoid avoid avoid ! Managed to speak to a dr twice in a year who we’re both lovely but slightly useless- saw a dr for my son for possible water inhalation- he said ‘he looked healthy enough’ and didn’t even listed to his lungs until I asked him to. Getting appointments is next to impossible.. the receptionists are some of the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever had the misfortune to speak to. I don’t normally write reviews, but I wanted to say how very grateful I am for the staff at Trescobeas Surgery, especially Practice Nurse Ele. She is incredibly kind and compassionate and makes you feel truly listened to.
Friendly staff, all queries and medical issues have been sorted out with great efficiency and turned around within a day or two.
Wish I could actually review an experience with Trescobeas but so far have been unable to even see a doctor. If you want to make an appointment you've got to call between 7am and 11am. After this they will only accept calls for medical emergencies, when asked what that would be the receptionist said life threatening. Not being funny but in a life threatening medical emergency I'd call 999 or 111 not the GP surgery. I only have praise for the doctors who work at this very busy surgery. They are kind, compassionate and caring. They are knowledgeable. I have unfortunately had to see them or request an online consultation these last 12 months much more than I would have liked. Either way, I had expert advice and timely handling of my issues. I am grateful for their time, energy and dedication.
