Excellent day out for all the family so much to see and do
Brilliant day out, perfect for a chill walk, nothing too strenuous and pushchair and wheelchair accessible.
Loved it here! What a brilliant place for a day out with children. We loved the barefoot walk, what an original idea we’d not seen in any other park. Also the disc golf was such good fun. The play area is of a very high standard with plenty to keep toddlers, children and tweens alike entertained for the best part of an afternoon. Ice cream and coffee reasonably priced. We were there for a good 5 hours and still didn’t make it even a quarter around the lake.
The miniature railway appears to have been shut down for some time. It is still shown as an attraction on the maps. The planting and land management is excellent.
