Fantastic cottage, well stocked with everything you'd need in the kitchen, indoor/outdoor games, and bedrooms. The multiple living rooms, distribution of bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms made it ideal for multi-family cottage trips so everyone can both have space apart and fun together. The hosts were immediate, informative, and kind in all their communication. Highly recommend!
Our family had a wonderful time over the thanksgiving long weekend. The scenery was spectacular and the cottage was perfect for our group. Lots of space to spread out. The cottage had everything you could need. The sauna and hot tub were a treat and everyone had a blast looking for the secret room. Perfect spot for a family reunion. Thanks for being so great with organizing everything with us Christine and Dani.
THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED — DO NOT STAY HERE We stayed at this Sparrow Lake cottage in July and it was a catastrophic experience. The property is unsafe, unsanitary, and completely misrepresented online. If you value your health, safety, money, or peace of mind — avoid this rental. Major issues we encountered: • No air conditioning during a July heatwave — the cottage was unbearably hot. • Our puppy developed heat exhaustion because of the broken AC. We stayed at their Woody cottage and it wasn’t quite what we expected. We knew that this was not a cottage where we could go swimming, but we didn’t expect the amount of muck at the waters edge. When our furry companions came out of the water they brought a layer of silt with them so we had to go into town to get some dog shampoo to use throughout the week. We had such a great weekend at the cottage with our family! The house was super spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. There were lots of games to enjoy, which kept everyone entertained and added to the fun. The landlord was really responsive and easy to reach whenever we had a question, which made things so much easier.
