We rented this cottage for a week last year and it was okay. Beautiful scenery and nice inside. Both screen doors were broken and the grass was a foot long. We decided to give it another chance for the lake view . We showed up this year and the entire back deck was caved in and not usable. Unsafe. We were not told of this in advance. Half of the windows don't have screens and the ones that did were broken. And the screen doors still didn't work after we were told they were fixed from last year. Stayed at this cottage numerous times and we all love it more each time - very spacious, amazing hosts, great amenities, very clean. The location is awsome with a great view, very peaceful. The way the cottage is setup with all the decorations, it really tunes you into the cottage life. If you’re looking for a cottage to spend valuable time with family and friends, this cottage is the to make great memories!
If you are looking for a super fun retro family vacation, this is it. We stayed at Cahoots Cottage on Sparrow Lake in January and had the best vacation ever. We attempted ice fishing (safely!), made s'mores over the bonfire as the snow lightly fell, hot tubbed to our hearts content...had a very serious pool competition, played balderdash and quirkle late into the night. Thank you Trenanthia for a great place to create some core memories with our kids!
