Expensive for what it is. The wine selection is excellent and they are very knowledgable. But the rest leaves something to be desired.
The kitchen at Tremolo Bar deserves nothing but praise — 5 stars for creative, flavorful, beautifully executed dishes that could rival any top-tier restaurant. We had the misfortune of staying at the nearby Salamander resort on a weekend when Middleburg was struck by a thunderstorm that took out power for the entire town for several hours. Our stay at the salamander was met with one mishap after another. We dined at Tremolo one evening and it was truly a breath of fresh air.
