We stayed here for a birthday weekend, and there were some definite positives. Laura was excellent about communication and responded quickly whenever I had questions. The cottage was ready when we arrived, and check-in was easy. That said, the property itself felt tired and in need of updating and maintenance. This is not a polished or recently renovated lodging, and some of the wear is noticeable. The biggest issue, however, was the grill. Absolutely fantastic! Our treehouse was out of the way and felt secluded. I loved the little log looking light poles that lined the dirt road to the treehouse. The treehouse was full of little details that made the stay even better. The bird feeder outside the giant picture window looking out into the woods was great! We loved waking up to all the little birds fighting over the seed. There was a skylight right above the bed and early in the morning the moon was perfectly positioned above us. We stayed in the bungalow treehouse and it was amazing! It was only 4 minutes from downtown but outside of downtown & secluded enough that we thought we were the only ones there! It was quiet, peaceful, & relaxing. We will definitely be staying again!

Fabulous place! Clean and mostly included basic amenities/necessities. DEFINITELY bring your own shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Tiny bottles were not enough for 2 people/2 nights. Everything else was PERFECT!
