I really like the doctor. I am grateful that she gives different treatment options, not just antibiotics. Another doctor prescribed my baby 3 different antibiotics in one month. She finds out the causes of the disease, and does not treat the symptoms, I find this an important point. I highly recommend her to anyone who is worried about the health of their children. She is best in Fort McMurray
Dr. Akanayeva was extremely proactive in helping us address our daughters low birth rate. She shared lots of resources and information with us, and gave us the opportunity to ask as many questions as we needed to.
She is an incredible doctor but her front staff are heartless. I feel like certain things should be understandable.. my daughter cannot be in the heat, she has anhidrosis, I don’t drive, I don’t have help and she wasn’t supposed to be home but she is, so I cannot go.. they are charging me the 80$.. they know the situation, they know I recently started over with two littles on my own and it’s been hard and they refuse to be understanding. Receptionist was so ignorant, my wife called me crying while I was at work. All she wanted was some information from her. How she still has a job is beyond me. Shows the level of professionalism from the entire clinic. Don’t bother.
