I had an extremely negative experience with Nicholas Call. I booked with him after leaving a treatment center, where I got sober and was able to stabilize. I was hoping to work with Nick on addressing trauma that led me to using in the first place. I was immediately put off. I shared some of my story with him and he immediately went into telling me that I seem to “need control” when it comes to my treatment. I was miserable, depressed, and angry with life so I came to this place for some help. My counselor Nick diagnosed me with complex ptsd and for the first months we worked on EMDR therapy. Then after a few more months he seemed to get burnt out on me. Like he was tired of listening to me. The last time I saw him he literally threw his hands up and said he was in over his head and said I should go to McKay Dee Behavioral center and have a team work with me.
