Gene helped me process so many of my anxieties and fears. He helped me through the pandemic when I was very alone. I was never pushed to talk about any issues until I was ready to bring them up. I was also able to call and leave a message and would hear back from Tree Hawks that same day if needed. They have flexible hours and schedule for people who work regular 40hrs.
Gene changed my life completely. It takes work, but when you find a therapist you click with it's unbelievable what you can accomplish.
Went to see Cindy, she was the first therapist I went to see ever. In her defense I have alot on my plate and alot to unpack in sessions but she only focused in on one thing ever, my ex and gave me horrible advice. Told me I should just let whatever he does happen so I can at least see my kids(fighting through covid custody court). She wouldn't try to help or talk through a situation,"just how that makes me feel" and I had to remind her about things I've talked about before all the time.
