We have a large cedar hedge surrounding our property and have had a very hard time finding an arborist who was able to trim it evenly on the first attempt for the past few years. Harvey from Tree Craft was excellent in all respects. We will definitely contract with him again, and again! Update: and we have now used him again a few times. He always does quality work! Another update: used him again to top the trees on the steep slope in front of our house. Very happy with the result.
Tree Craft brings years of experience and knowledge of caring for trees. Harvey excels at pruning high branches and taking down dead or diseased trees in difficult locations. His team is also very careful to clean up all fallen branches. Tree Craft has pruned Big Leaf Maple branches and dead trunks for me several times, and I recommend them highly.
We had TreeCraft in to prune fruit trees, shape several laurel bushes and deal with two dead fir trees. On Harvey's suggestion, the fir trees were given a coronet cut. The look is much more natural than a simple cross cut and stump and provides a surface for insects and birds to feed and perhaps nest. They did a great job and excellent clean up. We are very satisfied.
Harvey Sykes is our 'go to' arborist in the Comox Valley. Over several years, Harvey has done spiral trimming, limb and tree removal (including a few trees blown down by the wind & snagged in adjacent trees) for us. He has also done onsite chipping of the debris. What more could you ask for? Harvey is a skilled professional with a solid work ethic. Highly recommended!
