Walked in and wanted to try this local coffee shop as I wanted coffee with a good coffee score. Met Michelle who brewed me several samples and was very patient. Tried different brew methods for me and samples of each including a nitro brew. Ended up buying 2 bags and an aeropress! This business hired the right person! Michelle is a "coffee snob" that knows what she's talking about and more than helpful. Was a delight to learn more about the coffee and different brewing methods! Would definitely be back. Thanks again!!

I recently visited their store front for the first time and was unfortunately disappointed with the service. The woman assisting me did not appear friendly or engaged, and she seemed uninterested in helping. I purchased two bags of coffee and decided to order a cup as well. When I asked questions about the coffee-to-water ratio, brewing temperature, and other details, her responses were dismissive. Got to meet the owner himself, you can tell how much he cares about every step of his process! Beans smell great, can't wait to try them! There's even an after hours vending machine for beans!

I’ve been a frequent customer for a couple of years now, and I know a good bean when I taste one, Chalo’s is without a doubt my favourite roastery out there. Super fresh beans, a big range of flavours, and most importantly, always consistent. Also worth noting the extremely convenient vending machine which allows me to easily grab bags during after hours.
