Great groceries... Best grocery store to buy unique items from around the world. The staff is fantastic- very friendly and helpful. After getting sick from the smoked salmon, a bag boy told me awhile ago that they change the stickers to hide past dates. Could be a rumor and may be fixed by now (this was in 2007), but just pay attention to what you're buying. Overall, it's a great store and the staff is so friendly they alone bring me back. Con: more expensive on every day items Pro: small and cozy, great service
Nice place to get groceries Treasure Island is a great place to shop for groceries. I think they are a little pricier than Jewel or Dominicks, but I find their stuff to be fresher and they have a lot of things the bigger chains don't carry. Check out their bakery -- there's lots of really great, fresh baked cakes there! And they have lots of gourmet items too!
A great place to buy European Food Not only is this a grocery store, but it also specializes in European food selections. They have all sorts of products imported directly from England, France, Italy, etc. They have a good liquor selection and also have a wide variety of wines to choose from. This is a better place than Costco any day. PROS: Some unique foods, good wines CONS:
