Rude owner. Spent $71.87 and she asked me if I was paying cash or card. Who pays with cash nowadays? I told her card and she told me she would charge me a $2.00 convenience fee. Really? Monterey Antique Mall doesn’t charge for using a card and neither does Main Street Antiques in Turlock. By the way Main Street Antiques was so friendly and helped my 14 year old with her purchase of books. I was greeted with a smile and will definitely be there again. One of the reviewers said that a lady that works there seems insane. I think I know exactly who she is talking about, she has short brown hair. I understand vintage is sometimes one of a kind but to say that a basket is made from 1940 from mother Teresa made her seem weird because my sister said it looked like an Amazon one. Lady came running out the door to say that weird remark about mother Teresa. I'm just saying that place is s a scam when I can find all that at the goodwill for 5bucks.
I’ve been coming here for years and have always enjoyed the rotating selection of goodies throughout the maze themed rooms, it truly does feel like a treasure hunt! The prices are reasonable and I appreciate that the items being sold are truly antiques and of good quality. Today was extra special thanks to Cheryl, she made sure that I didn’t feel rushed in the midst of Christmas shopping. She was genuinely kind and very attentive, even while multitasking to make sure everyone in the store was taken care of.
I agree with last reviewer. Thought I'd try this store again. Everytime I try shopping here, I feel like I'm being watched and the lady that owns it is rude. And don't try to shop 30 minutes before their closing time. They either kick you out or are already closed.
Terrible customer service from one of the owners. She was very rude to my friend. Don't waste your time or money here.
