They had excellent communication and were very fast at answering my questions! I honestly have never had a better experience with a travel insurance before! The staff were extremely friendly and professional! They helped me with all my needs, I would highly recommend!
Updated: they ended up denying our claim for a cancellation/delay after our flight from Johannesburg to Newark was cancelled and the airline could not get us out for an additional two days. After the cancellation I immediately booked a (significantly more expensive) flight on a different airline routing us through Paris instead so that we weren’t stuck in South Africa for two days, and their justification for the denial was “your new flight ended up leaving earlier so you weren’t actually delayed.” Unfortunately, this is not... read more
I wish i could give this insurance company zero stars but sadly i have no option for that. Recently i purchased travel insurance for my mother who were visiting me in US from another country. Unfortunately she had to visit ER during her stay due to gal-bladder stone pain. I insured a luxury condo in Colorado with Trawick for this ski season but couldn’t make the trip due to illness. Be warned — this company was extremely disappointing. What looks good on paper completely falls apart when you file a claim.
Terrible Experience I purchased the Safe Travels Comprehensive Plan for my parents and it has been an absolute disaster. This company appears to be deliberately designed to deny legitimate claims and exhaust customers into giving up.
