I have always bought trip insurance and the first time I needed it, my trip was denied. My family of 7 got a notification the day of that our flight to the cruise port city was canceled and no other flights were offered that day. Which I thought would count as a trip interruption but because the airline company noted the cancellation as a crew issue instead of a mechanical issue we received no reimbursement for the cost of getting to the cruise. I made a big mistake purchasing travel insurance from Trawick International last year. During my travel, I suffered from illness and had to visit the doctor. The doctor's office later filed the claim and I followed up with the insurance multiple times but they continued to deny any receipt of claim. The customer care also kept giving vague answers and refused to talk to the doctor's office. I would give zero if I could, worst travel insurance company I have ever dealt with and I was with a major travel service for many years. DO NOT buy from them if you want a claim paid , absolutely horrible company , we travel often but will not use them again, meds lost , missed flight, had to get new flights and hotel, all rejected !! Useless

My claims were denied without satisfactory explanations. I have purchased multiple policies in the past, and this was the first time I had to make a claim. I had two medical visits about eight months ago: let's call them Visit #1 and Visit #2. I have bought 6 policies from Trawick and will NEVER buy another one from Trawick! Up until the last trip we have never had to make a claim. On this last trip, unfortunately, I had to file a claim with their claims processor, Surego Administrative Services, as our flight was delayed overnight for a total of 13 hours, which met the terms of our policy.
