From a Grateful Patient Superbowl Sunday, 2023 my husband and niece took me into the emergency room at Advent Health hospital with my head aching, slurred speech, and an inability to walk on my own. Several hours later, with my head swelling and the symptoms worsening, my family met with Dr. Clayton Bauer, the neurosurgeon, on call and the prognosis was dire. Very caring. Didn’t oversell the outcome, which has been better than I expected. Great bedside manner and personality. Very skilled and I would recommend him to anyone contemplating back surgery.
Dr. Dailey took the time to comprehensively review his findings and his recommendations. He was very personable and an excellent communicator. I was extremely pleased with his willingness to listen and respond to my questions and concerns. I’m hopeful that he will be able to relieve my serious back issues so that I can enjoy life again. I have confidence he’s the neurosurgeon who can make this happen!
I was extremely disappointed with our experience with Dr. Travis Dailey. After waiting in the exam room for over an hour, he entered abruptly. He informed us that he had reviewed the imaging and that "he did not see anything out of place in the films" (he must have repeated those words at least 4x), that he could fix- without offering any meaningful explanation or discussion.
