Dr Cotton was great. He listened to my unusual circumstances and explained everything in detail. Though he gets an easy 5 stars, Brown U Hospital has a lot to improve. Office communication and treatment of emergency patients are particularly bad.
Dr. Cotton completely put my mind at ease when I was diagnosed with Hyperparathoidism. He explained everything before my surgery was scheduled and answered all of my questions, all in a way that I could understand. The day of my surgery he again reassured me and again was available to answer any questions. He is very approachable, friendly and has a good sense of humor. Dr. Cotton , FNP Nicole Demir and staff at Brown Surgical Associates in Providence , RI, were extremely professional, caring and compassionate. From my first appointment were I had a biopsy done on my thyroid to my thyroidectomy surgery in August of 2024, they made me very comfortable and explained everything thoroughly.Aftercare in the hospital and follow up visits were great. I would highly recommend Dr. Cotton for your endocrinology needs.
