I saw Dr. Cotton for a very large thyroid nodule. He met with me to review my options and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. He performed a partial thyroidectomy and at my post op appointment explained my ongoing treatment. The scar after two weeks is barely visible. Everyone on his staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Cotton and his team.

Dr Cotton was great. He listened to my unusual circumstances and explained everything in detail. Though he gets an easy 5 stars, Brown U Hospital has a lot to improve. Office communication and treatment of emergency patients are particularly bad.
Dr. Cotton completely put my mind at ease when I was diagnosed with Hyperparathoidism. He explained everything before my surgery was scheduled and answered all of my questions, all in a way that I could understand. The day of my surgery he again reassured me and again was available to answer any questions. He is very approachable, friendly and has a good sense of humor.
