I found Traverse City Exteriors doing a Google Search. Andrew and his father Ed were at my door within 24 hours to give me an estimate. I had two other estimates, one for twice as much and the other for $7,000 more. I told them on Friday they were hired, and they showed up Monday by 8am to begin tearing off roofing, replacing plywood and getting the roof ready for new shingles. I got a quick return call from Andrew, he and his wife were out the next day. They gave me a quote, and arranged for their crew to be out the following day. The crew was friendly and efficient. Really did not enjoy the experience. Seemed like the wood was of poor quality procured by them and the workmanship was not great. Was considering roof work by them but not interested after their work on my porch.
