I have been a member for 6 years. It was always free, but 2025 they began charging an annual fee. I purchased my first voucher of the year, and immediately had problems as the business was not able to offer all the amenities listed. I requested a refund because the business could not provide he experience I paid for. Though past the refund date, advertising amenities not available should definitely result in a refund. Travel zoo is great I've pre-bought several getaways from them and never one of them was a very good value and well worth the money!
Travelzoo has advetised a scam several times. Travelzoo partnered with UTOvacation to partnered trips that after paid in full are canceled with a credit only no refund policy. It’s incredible the level of criminality these companies shared. Customers upload passports and there is the possibility that UTOvacation sells the passports numbers and identify for obscures purposes. Travelzoo is a critical component of this scam.
do not use travelzoo to book your trip. They take no responsibility to post these companies that go out of business, do not keep their contract, steal your money or is a an awful trip. With me, one went out of business and took 9 months to get my money after several denials. The other took 3 years to finally cancel the trip and stopped communicating with me and finally got our money. DO NOT ISE UTO AND DO NOT USE TRAVELODEAL. Both awful!
