I’ve used travelex for every trip worldwide for many years. In July of 2025 I suffered a cardiac arrest in the United Kingdom while on vacation. Travelex promptly organized a private jet and medical team to get me back home to the united states for bypass surgery. I've been using Travelex Insurance for almost 20 years. Most of the times, Thank GOD, it was just a peace of mind as nothing happened. 2 small claims (1 trip delay in 2019 and 1 medical related in 2022 ) were dealt with reasonably promptly and all applicable expenses were reimbursed after providing requested receipts Then came a biggie - summer of 2024 when my wife and I went to hike TMB and she got injured.
