I find myself in the same situation as many of the other customers. Went on a cruise. Had a medical episode while on the cruise. Was able to return home and headed to the ER within one day of being home. Had a serious medical episode. Due to not seeing a doctor onboard they denied my claim. This was after I submitted extensive financial and medical information. Endured lots of costs and was counting on Travelex. I have seven trips planned for 2026 and will not be using them again.
I have been working with this company to provide Travel insurance for my clients for over eight years and they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with. I truly cannot say enough good about them.
Still awaiting responses for claim back in May 2025. They have made the claim process very difficult for showing receipts for purchases (clothing, toiletries, etc.) when there was a 3 country power outages and receipts could not be printed. Nothing extrordinary was purchased (we did not purchase designer jeans or fur coats), only the basics to get us by for 3 days. I’ve used travelex for every trip worldwide for many years. In July of 2025 I suffered a cardiac arrest in the United Kingdom while on vacation. Travelex promptly organized a private jet and medical team to get me back home to the united states for bypass surgery. I’ve recovered fully and thank travelex and my medical team for making that possible- thank you, thank you, thank you travelex
