Great for Herbs I'm not really into the clothing or jewerly at Travelers, but have to admit, it is a great place for herbs. It is so much cheaper to get them by the ounce or pound here then to buy tea bags in the store. Plus then you can try mixing herbs to get the flavor and result you want! Oh, and you also try their Chai when you're in there!

Now bigger and even better! Travelers has always been a great store for anyone who is looking for worldly items to decorate their home, or if you're spiritually inclined, from India or just fascinated with all things India. But now that they've expanded, it's twice as nice. You can find books, cds, dvds, jewelry, supplements, art and clothing. Which is to say nothing of their selection of Indian foods. My most recent Travelers discovery: they've got a chai counter in there. Their chai is one of the best kept secrets in town.... read more

wonderful selection Very nice store tucked away in Capitol Hill in unassuming store-front. Large selection of middle eastern and indian wares including clothing, incense, music, foods, art, etc. There is definitely something here for everyone. Sales staff is super friendly and personable. Also can sit here and have a spot of tea while you enjoy conversations with strangers. Very highly reccomended. Always come here when I visit seattle and load up on really great, really cheap incense. They also have essential oils which are... read more

Great place to spend your evenings at.. Travelers Tea Bar is one of the most amazing Indian stores I have been to. It's a great combination of a tea cafe, restaurant, book store, appareal store and a jewellery store. You could spend couple hours easily here. Highly recommended.

nice indian gift shop There are definitely more than one Indian gift shop in Seattle area, but Travelers is the most unique I have ever been to. It's not really just a gift shop - they also have lots of things you might not expect, like chai and books, etc. The prices are good, and the atmosphere is really nice. It's a very interesting place to check out!
