Travelers basically tried to punish me for submitting a roof claim. The process was unsettling and then my next policy doubled. It was difficult to switch because of my claim. (Which is odd because it was my only claim in 6 years and the roof was now new) then the next year it doubled again. My policy was 3 times the amount I was able to get from anywhere else. I was finally able to switch out.
Unfortunately I was involved in two car accidents in 2024, in both situations my cars were totaled. I had no issues with my claim nor the medical or vehicle payments. Beware if you're ever hit by someone with travlers insurance as they will refuse to pay for the damages even when they are fully liable avoid them at all cost
Their insured hit me (merged into the side of my car after they drove straight through their right turn only lane and didn’t stop or check to see if there was someone in the lane they were merging into already) and the adjuster did not respond for three weeks after taking my statement when she said she should have a decision in a day. Their insured hit me when I was in a driveway. I have an antique vehicle and they are trying to pay less than 1/4 what it is worth and say they don't pay for any modifications. They are liable. They shouldn't be able to choose what they pay for. I called the number in their reply and they agreed the value on my vehicle wasn't correct.
