Better deals to be had at a garage sale... I found travel guides from 2000 on the shelf! In fact the most current one I found (I was looking specifically for the Washington DC area) was 2006. As old as these guides were they were still selling at list price. Also the two women working there didn't even look up when I walked in. They might have been great once (based on the other reviews) but not any more...very disappointing...

great bookstore This is one of my favorite bookstores in the city. If you like to travel or like reading about the travels of others, this is a great place to visit. I am particularly fond of their section of travel memoirs. They also have great books of maps and photographs of different places. This is also a neat place to go if you are shopping for coffee table type books.
