I see lots of reviews saying Travelers has great rates but wait until you have a claim. Every company is great until they have to pay! Travelers denied a mere $300 claim for damage their client caused to my lawn sprinkler head from illegally entering my property with their van. I sent photos, a security video, and a company repair estimate and they still denied the claim. Stay away from their adjuster, Patrick Cavanaugh in Rowlett, if you want your claim approved. ****The discount they promised me after paying out of pocket for a new roof wasn’t what they had initially promised me. By the next renewal it was back to what it was before the “discount” So I got nothing out of it. The insurance kept increasing every single year. I was finally able to switch insurance companies. I no longer recommend Travelers Insurance especially for your home. I was treated very rudely and disrespectfully by an adjuster with very little help from his manager. It took 6 months for my claim to be processed. The adjuster kept taking time off. The customer experience was like being punished for having to file a claim and I pay a large premium for this coverage. My customer satisfaction with Travelers =zero. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If you are their customer, you are their mark. Found them backdating a letter to us. Keep an eye on your coverage if you're in an area that had any sort of unusual weather...you might just get dropped without warning.
