I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! As well, I posted this on my Facebook. I was hit by one of their insured and I was treated like I hit them! I had open heart surgery almost 7 months ago and this incident had caused me so much stress! I had to stop talking to the claim representative as every time I talked with him I had chest pains!!!!!
20+ years customer. No claims. Never late or missed a payment. I sent all the information they asked for (twice). Received a letter they did not receive the information timely and was canceling. Very disappointed.
I did not do my research when I bought Travelers Ins. ,I trusted my agent. It only took a few weeks before they raised my rates and threatened to cancel me unless I emptied a trailer with construction material that I am storing as I rebuild from a tornado and remove a car from my property that I am slowly trying to restore. My original options were store it in a garage which I would have to build because my existing garage is my workshop for repairing my house. Someone with Travelers auto insurance hit the SIDE of my car. This is NOT a BBB accredited company for a reason. They deny claims that are straightforward and are a dishonest company.
I have been with this company for 2 years and just received an email last week saying they are not renewing my Home insurance due to paint peeling on the fascia of my house and unregistered vehicles on my property. There are no unregistered vehicles on my property. The fascia does have some paint peeling but if that is all it takes to get dropped by this insurance company then I would rather switch to a better company anyway.
