Myra was and is great. I initially bought my policy through a ski club trip but then realized that i could get a one year multi trip plain for not so much more. Myra cancelled the first policy and got me the second one thru Allianz. I was forced to cancel the trip and filed a claim with Allianz, through which process Myra held my hand. She gave me a lot of cheerful service for what i would imagine was a very small commission. Bravo and thanks, Myra. John B***
In view of the one review posted on this site, I want to provide a different perspective. I have used this company to insure many trips, including ski trips with a group. Myra has always been helpful and at times goes above and beyond to search for a policy that meets my needs. On one occasion, she was in Europe and worked hard to locate a policy for me. The companies she uses have been responsive to request for payment when it has been necessary for me to cancel a trip for health reasons.
In trying desperately to understand what i am purchasing in a travel insurance policy, i tried to contact Myra. this is my second time using her but the first that i am actually interested in what the policy includes. after asking for that repeatedly, she sent me definitions of the coverage and was reachable only through email. one of her emails was quite curt , as she stated :" its 41 dollars, as i wrote" "when she finally understood that i am requesting coverage amounts, her email was curt , again, and she gave me to amoun... read more
Business response:
She is right. I was wrong. However my traveling has nothing to do with my level of service. I work from 9am -5pm eastern time when i travel no matter where i am even if i am on the other side of the world. This is one of those very rare isolated cases.
