My friend just took out AUD$2000 in Peruvian PEN. The market rate was 2.45PEN per AUD$1. These guys gave her a rate of 1.889 which is borderline theft. Make sure you triple check your rates in comparison to what Travel Money Oz Joondalup are offering. On 2000 dollar conversion, these guys skimmed 400 dollars off the top which is not true blue "Oz". Fair enough they have to give a lower "sell" rate but they took advantage of the fact thay PEN isn't hugely common in Aus. Shameful.
