As an Industrial Designer, I love the comfort of my City 2 +. However, I am insanely disappointed as it has collected so much rust has ruined my wheelchair over the past two years of ownership. I have had to replace both front wheels twice along with other bearings due to rust - no, wear and tear is not covered under warranty. The wheelchair is so rusted, it doesn't fold anymore. I recently reached out to Travel Buggy while researching wheelchair options for my mom. I had many conversations with Robbie during which she provided information and videos (including one created specifically at my request) to assist in my decision making. I ultimately purchased a Travel Buggy GT. Travel Buggy’s 30-day return process took the stress out of ordering the chair knowing we’d have time to adequately ‘test’ it to be sure it would work. When we started investigating travel wheelchairs for an upcoming trip to Europe we stumbled Upon Travel Buggy and boy are we thrilled we did! Right from the first contact via an email question, the service from Robbie has been first class. Questions answered promptly, no pressure just good information. Robbie gone out of her way to ensure that we are informed and satisfied that the chair we chose was the right choice for us! We highly recommend Travel Buggy!

I made the best decision in February 2025 and purchased a Travel Buggy Aerolux. It is so lightweight because it is made of carbon fiber. it is easy for my husband to place in the back of our crv. It enables me to have freedom and get out and about. Joystick controller is a plus allowing easy turning. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing help in getting around.

Love the chairs. Have two different models and they are both great. I have a city plus 2 and use the ramps to load it into my suv and it’s great for going out on outings. I’ve taken it all through downtown Boston, even on the rough sidewalks and it holds up great. But the Aerolux is my day to day chair. It’s light and easy to fold up. If I go to an appointment, I don’t have to wait for a wheelchair van, because it folds small enough to fit in most Ubers or Lyfts.
